Q. Will you assist me or help me build my website?
A. No. We only host your website, you will have to build it or hire a webmaster to build it for you. We offer an add-on called SiteStudio you can use to build a professional website without knowing anything about html, cgi, graphics, http, ftp and so on. It's only $4.95/mo and comes with 500 + professional templates ready for you to use.

Q. Will you place ads on my site?
A. We will NOT place ads on your site.

Q. Do you allow sites to advertise for money, on their web site?
A. Yes, we allow sites to have commercial advertisements.

Q. Do you have a large download file I can test your speed with?
A. Yes, we do you can test the download file here

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover

Q. Are your server's Unix, or NT?
A. Our servers are Linux Red Hat 7.3. and Red Hat 9.0

Q. Do you allow adult sites?
A. No, we DO NOT allow adult sites.

Q. What control panel do you use and do you have a demo?
A. The control panel we use is called Cpanel. A demo of Cpanel can be found here. Login with the username demo, and the password demo.

Q. Can I pay monthly?
A. Yes, you may pay monthly

Q. How long does it take to setup my account?
A. Your account will be setup automatically within 15 minutes of ordering, when paying with a credit card.

Q. Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
A. No

Q. How much is extra bandwidth and space?
A. If you need more bandwidth or disk space e-mail us to upgrade you to a higher plan. If you need more bandwidth or space then our highest plan offers you can purchase bandwidth for $7.00/mo a gig and space for $15/mo a gig.

Q. Do you offer telnet or shell access?
A. No due to security reason's we do not offer telnet or shell access.

Q. Can I password protect directories?
A. Yes you can password protect directory's within Cpanel.

DNS Answers

Q. How long does it take to get my domain working?
A. It usually takes 24-72 hours for a domain to fully propagate.

Q. Can I view my site even though my domain's name servers haven't propagated yet?
A. Yes you can view your site by going to http://your ip here/~yourusernamehere/ Be sure to include the ~ and /

Q. What do I set my domains name server's to?
A. This information is included in your welcome email you have, or will receive once you sign up. If you lost your welcome email, Contact Us

Q. It's not letting me upload my files what's wrong?
A. Make sure you are uploading to the right web directory which is the public_html folder.

Q. Why doesn't my ftp password change when I change my Cpanel password?
A. Please allow 24 hours for your FTP password to sync with your Cpanel password.

FrontPage Questions

Q. How come my FrontPage client does not recognize the FrontPage extensions?
A. Make sure you have changed the name server information of your domain name to point to the server as noted in your welcome email. When your domain name fully propagates, FrontPage will recognize the extensions. FrontPage will FTP your site to the server in the beginning. That's ok to do.

Q. How do I create databases and manage them?
A. Login to your cpanel and click MySQL Databases. After your database is created you can manage it from phpmyadmin. This can be found at the very bottom of the MySQL page.

A. Simply email us your username, password, and why you wish to cancel within thirty days, and we process your refund within 24 to 72  hours.

Q. How do I make a payment?

Q. How do I stop billing?
A. If you wish to close your account simply email us your username, password, and why you wish to cancel 30 days prior to actual cancellation. You must also include "I give you permission to delete my website and all of it's content."

Q. I upgraded the bandwidth or disk space limit on my packages. Why aren't my sites updating?
A. You have to manually upgrade or downgrade a site to the newly edited packages, even if the site is using the same package name.

Q. One of my sites exceeded its bandwidth limit. I raised it's limit but the site is still saying bandwidth exceeded, why?
A. Please make sure you have upgraded the sites bandwidth limit. After doing so email us the link to your main reseller site, and the link to the site that is saying bandwidth exceeded. Cpanel requires us to go in and manually remove the bandwidth exceeded suspension.

Q. I edited a hosting package why aren't my sites showing up with the new stats?
A.  Editing a hosting package does not edit the sites that are already on the package. So to get your sites on the newly edited package you need to upgrade them to the same package name. After doing so the new stats will kick in.

Q. If  you add something into Cpanel, and then when you go to check it and it's not there this is why....
A. Login to your Cpanel account and look at the left side of the page where it says  "General account information" It will then list what has been used and how many of each feature you have left. Notice how the below examples says 0 / 0  That means you are trying to add something your account doesn't have. You need to go into your WHM create a new hosting package that has the features you need. After creating this package with the features you need upgrade your site to the new package. 

SSL Secure Servers Shared & Private

Q. What is the difference between shared ssl and private ssl?

A. A shared ssl displays as https://ip/~yourusername/ A private ssl would display as https://www.yourdomain.com in the address bar.

 

Q. How do I purchase a private ssl from you and what type is it?

A. We sell GeoTrust Quick 128 bit certificates to the end user for $99 + $49.95 installation fee. To purchase an SSL certificate from us, Contact US Private SSL requires that you have a dedicated IP. WE will provide your dedicated IP for $5/mo and it will be added to your billing.

 

Q. What's the path to the free shared ssl?

A. We need to activate the shared ssl on each site manually that will require it. You will need to Contact Us

 

Q. I'm going to purchase my own ssl what do I need to know?

A. Our servers are Apache + Mod SSL. We can  install it for you and there will be a $49.95 installation fee.

 

Q. How do I transfer a ssl?

A. Every place that sells ssl's has a different transfer procedure. You will need to ask the supplier you purchased it from. Our supplier is GeoTrust, so if you purchased it from us, contact GeoTrust.

Sub Domains

Q. READ THIS BEFORE SETTING UP A SUB DOMAIN!

A. To create a sub domain Cpanel asks for the name you wish to use. MAKE SURE the sub domain name you give it doesn't have a folder already named that name. If there is a pre-existing folder with the same name, the sub will not work. Example... I want to create the sub domain test.yourdomain.com so my sub name is going to be test. If I already have a folder in my ftp named test I need to delete it or rename it to something different before I create the sub domain with the test name from Cpanel.

 

Q. What is a subdomain?

A. www.domain.com is a domain name. A sub domain is anything that replaces the www in a domain name.forum.yourdomain.com is a sub domain. www.forum.yourdomain.com is not a sub domain.

 

Q. How do I setup a subdomain?

A. Login to your Cpanel and select "subdomain" and enter the name you want to appear before .yourdomain.com. Like "support". The server will setup support.yourdomain.com for you. Add-On Domains

Q. What is an add-on domain?

A. An add-on domain is a fully functional domain that will work out of a folder in your main web site's ftp. Used often by webmasters needing to host multiple web sites on one account and be able control all web sites through one Cpanel. Note that a one time park fee of $6.95 + $1/mo required for all parked and/or add on domain names.

 

Q. READ THIS BEFORE SETTING UP AN ADD-ON DOMAIN!

You cannot create an add-on domain if your dns hasn't prorogated to the server already. So after you change the sites dns you are trying to add you will need to wait 48-72 hours before attempting to create your add-on domain.

 

Q. How do I create an add-on domain? Additional fees required for this feature and we need to FIRST upgrade your account. You will need to Contact Us.

A. Login to your Cpanel and select Addon Domains. There are three fields Cpanel asks for when creating an add-on domain.

1. "New Domain Name:"   You will put in the newdomain.com Do not put www in the name!

2. "Username/directory/subdomain Name:" This will be the folder Cpanel creates in your main accounts ftp. MAKE SURE that the name you give it doesn't already have a folder. Example... If you want to give it the username support. You cannot have a folder in your account named "support" already. If you do and still try creating the username for the add-on domain to be "support" you will mess a lot of things up!!!

3. "Password:" fill in any password you want here.

Q. Help I added an add-on domain why did it say sub domain added?!!?
